Spring Skill Clinics
Check out the "Skills Clinics" tab at the top of this page for
information on the spring skills clinics the Lady Generals Basketball
Program will be sponsoring for all interested 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th
grade girls. All skill clinics will be held at the AW Jr. High gym, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, on April 22, April 29, May 6, and May 13.
Players are invited to attend as many of the four clinics as they are able - please wear tennis shoes and bring a water bottle and basketball. A player does not have to attend every clinic; however, the skills will build upon each other each week.
The goal of these clinics is to help to develop fundamental skills in our individual players. Most of the time will be spent in drills and activities that help to develop ball handling skills, dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive fundamentals.

End of League Wrap-Up
First off, the Lady Generals coaching staff and
players would like to thank you all for a great Jr. Generals' season.
Despite the weather, we saw lots of great basketball and saw much growth
in the teams and players.
A special thanks goes out to all the coaches for putting in the time and effort to lead these teams - without them this program could not work. We would also like to thank all the parents who provided transportation and support to their girls - it is so great to look up in the stands and see so many supportive, cheering faces.
While the league might be ending, that does not mean that basketball will be stopping! In the next few months, we will send out information in regards to our summer basketball camp. While dates are unknow right now, we will forward this information and registration information once we have it.
We will also again be offering FREE skills clinics this spring to all interested 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. More information will follow soon.
